DONATE TODAY for Music Education!
100% of proceeds supports Lewis & Clark Community College music
students in the areas of music production & performance ensembles.
The Dogs of Society Scholarship raises funds for music students at Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois with an annual benefit concert featuring Dogs of Society–The Ultimate Elton Rock Tribute. 100% of the night’s proceeds directly funds this financial resource for L&C music students to further their studies in music production and performance ensembles.
This scholarship and concert is the brainchild of The Dogs’ Keyboardist, Louis Michael, LCCC's Music Coordinator and a Professor of Music. As a performer himself, Louis knows what huge impacts music can have on the developing brain and long-term memory function. But, financial aid doesn't cover music class because it's not required within most degree curricula. Louis saw students who needed help covering the cost of tuition and textbooks... and the scholarship was born.
Percussionist Peter Hussey, also a Professor of Music at Lewis & Clark, always joins The Dogs for this very special benefit concert. And kicking off the show, the very students who are helped by this awesome scholarship, the LCCC Rock Ensemble.
Dogs of Society is thrilled to be part of this initiative to support music education and we hope you will join us by making a tax-deductible donation.
